Gammulin is a supplement consisting of serum globulin and other nutrients to be added to whole milk or milk replacer for calves . Prior to or during periods of stress, feed 25 grams daily with 1 gallon of milk or milk replacer. Mix thoroughly and feed to the calf days 2 - 14. It does not react negatively to other feed ingredients, making it safe to use in all calf diets.
A calf's response to antibiotic treatment is better if it has not been given feed grade antibiotics. As a result, therapeutic use of antibiotics is preferred over low level continual use. The vitamins and nutrients found in GammulinTM may offer the solution to antibiotic treatment. By reducing stress with GammulinTM, the need for antibiotic treatment is greatly reduced, which in the end, can lower costs and increase overall calf health.
