Recommendations for Use

Colostrx Multi Species Colostrum Supplement is designed to supplement mother's colostrum. It is important that newborns continue to nurse the mother if possible. Colostrx Multi Species Colostrum Supplement provides supplemental globulin proteins and other essential nutrients important for all newborn animals. Colostrx Multi Species Colostrum Supplement is not a complete feed. If milk from the mother is not available, Colostrx Multi Species Colostrum Supplement should be followed by a high quality milk replacer program.

Measure the appropriate amount of Colostrx Multi Species and feed as directed. Refrigerate any unused Colostrx Multi Species solution promptly after mixing. Prior to feeding, rewarm any stored Colostrx Multi Species by placing the bottle in warm (not hot) water until solution is approximately 105°F. Mix thoroughly prior to feeding. Discard any reconstituted solution not used by 24 hours. Do not freeze or microwave. Store unused Colostrx Multi Species powder in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.

Directions

Species	Instructions
Alpaca Cria	Mix 2-3 Tablespoons of supplement in 1/4 to 3/8 cup of warm (105 to 110°F) water and mix well. Feed all solution. Repeat every 4 hours. One bag feeds up to 3.7 animals.
Llama Cria	Mix 2-3 Tablespoons of supplement in 1/4 to 3/8 cup of warm (105 to 110°F) water and mix well. Feed all solution. Repeat every 4 hours. One bag feeds up to 3.7 animals.
Lamb	Mix 3-4 Tablespoons of supplement in 3/8 to 1/2 cup of warm (105 to 110°F) water and mix well. Feed all solution. Repeat every 4 hours. One bag feeds up to 2.4 animals.
Kid	Mix 5-6 Tablespoons of supplement in 5/8 to 3/4 cup of warm (105 to 110°F) water and mix well. Feed all solution. Repeat every 4 hours. One bag feeds up to 1.5 animals.
Fawn	Mix 2-3 Tablespoons of supplement in 1/4 to 3/8 cup of warm water (105 to 110°F) water and mix well. Feed all solution. Repeat every 4 hours. One bag feeds up to 3.7 animals.
Calf	Mix contents of entire package in 8 cups of warm (105 to 110°F) water and mix well. Feed all solution as soon as possible after birth. One bag feeds 1 animal.
Foal	Mix 5 Tablespoons of supplement in 1 cup of warm (105 to 110°F) water and mix well. Feed all solution. Repeat every 3 hours. One bag feeds 1 animal. NOTE: Adjust feeding volume according to animal's body weight. Light weight foals and pony foals should be fed less volume of supplement.
Puppy	Mix 2 Teaspoons of supplement in 4 Teaspoons of warm (105 to 110°F) water for each 1 lb of body weight and mix well. Adjust feeding amount to actual body weight. Feed all solution. Repeat every 3 hours. One bag feeds up to 8.2 puppies weighing 1 lb.
Kitten	Mix 1/2 Teaspoon in 1 Teaspoon of warm (105 to 110°F) water for each 1/4 lb of body weight. Adjust feeding volume according to actual body weight. Feed all solution. Repeat every 3 hours. One bag feeds 33 kittens weighing 1/4 lb.

Storage

Store at temperatures no higher than room temperature (72° F, 23° C) and out of direct sunlight.
